Three things are worth pulling out. M88 states that the site is operated by Tanoa Gaming Limited, a company registered in the Republic of Vanuatu (Co Reg 302380), registered office at Adams & Co., Law Partners House, Lini Highway, Port Vila, under Interactive Gaming Licence IGL-04/2021, issued by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development on 24 November 2021 for a term of 15 years.
That is a complete disclosure: an entity, a company number, a licence number, an issuer, a date and a term. For comparison, several brands we cover name four or more authorities and publish no number against any of them.
We checked the company. Vanuatu’s Financial Services Commission runs a free public register, and TANOA GAMING LIMITED (302380) returns as Registered, incorporated 29 October 2020, at the same Adams & Co. address. We ran a control search first and confirmed the register does report removed and de-registered companies, so a Registered result means something.
What we could not check, and why it matters
Vanuatu’s Interactive Gaming Act is a genuine framework, and the regime was relaunched in July 2024 under the VFSC. But Vanuatu publishes no public register of gaming licences. So while the operating company verifies, IGL-04/2021 itself cannot be looked up — by us, by you, or by a payment provider.
That is the entire distance between M88 and an Anjouan-licensed brand in our scoring.
