Ice Fishing is Evolution’s live game show, and since its launch in August 2025 it has become one of the most searched casino games in Malaysia. A host presents it from an arctic fishing hut: you bet on a 53-segment money wheel, and each spin either pays an instant win or sends the host out onto the ice to reel in a fish worth up to 500x your stake. Multipliers that land before the spin can push that to 5,000x.
This guide covers how a round works, the odds on every segment of the wheel, the three bonus rounds and the RTP of each bet. It also covers whether Ice Fishing is real and why there’s no official free demo. Despite the name, Ice Fishing isn’t a tembak ikan shooter: if you came for the arcade fishing games where you aim a cannon, see our online fishing casino guide.
In our sessions, the first thing Ice Fishing teaches is its pace. There are about eight seconds to bet before each spin, so it’s the bet you set before the round that matters, not anything you decide during it.

Best Ice Fishing Sites in Malaysia
Ice Fishing plays the same at every casino that carries it: the wheel, the odds and the RTP come from Evolution. What changes is the wallet, the payout speed and, above all, whether the bonus counts it, because most welcome offers are written for slots. Every site below carries Ice Fishing in its Evolution lobby, takes MYR deposits and paid out in our tests.
We captured each lobby logged out in October 2026, so the screenshots show what you’ll see before you sign up. Only Melbet lists Ice Fishing at that point. At the other four it sits in the full Evolution lobby, which opens once you log in, and we confirmed it there.
BK8: A Live Welcome That Counts Evolution’s Game Shows
BK8 was established in 2014 and is now the title sponsor of Gresini Racing in MotoGP.
Ice Fishing at BK8
BK8’s live lobby can be filtered by studio and game before you sign up. Under Evolution, the Others filter, pictured, shows game shows such as Crazy Time and Lightning Storm next to Evolution’s Craps, and the full list adds Mega Ball. Ice Fishing is in the Evolution lobby once you log in.
Bonus Offers
BK8’s live-casino welcome is 50% up to MYR 300 at 25x deposit plus bonus, from a MYR 50 transfer, with 30 days to clear it. It covers every live studio except Sexy Casino and Allbet, so Evolution’s game shows, Ice Fishing included, count towards the rollover.

We88: The Biggest Live Welcome Here, and Ice Fishing Counts

We88’s live casino page, pictured, opens on its studio tiles, with Evolution first, followed by Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Winfinity, Creedroomz, ONLive, Ezugi and Sexy Baccarat. Ice Fishing is in the Evolution lobby, whose game list appears after you log in.
Bonus Offers
We88’s 100% live-casino welcome is the biggest in this top five: up to MYR 500 at 25x deposit plus bonus, from a MYR 30 deposit. You choose live casino as the welcome’s game type when you make your first deposit. Its exclusions are blackjack, 3 Pictures, poker and Evolution’s First Person tables, so Ice Fishing counts. The daily cash rebate on live casino, from 0.4% at the Red tier to 1% at Diamond, is paid automatically with no turnover, and its exclusion list doesn’t name game shows either.

Melbet: Ice Fishing Before You Sign Up, at Two Tables
Melbet was established in 2012 and funds an account from MYR 5, the lowest entry point in this top five.
Ice Fishing at Melbet
Melbet is the only site here that shows Ice Fishing before you log in. Its live casino has a Game Show collection, pictured, with two Ice Fishing tables, Ice Fishing and Ice Fishing Brasil, next to Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, Dream Catcher, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand and Lightning Storm. Logged out, limits are shown in euros: EUR 0.10 to EUR 5,000 a round on Ice Fishing.
Bonus Offers
Melbet has no welcome aimed at live casino. Its casino package is worth up to MYR 9,600 plus 290 free spins over five deposits, wagered 40x within 7 days, and its terms don’t say whether game shows count. Regular players can join the Casino VIP Cashback programme instead. It returns 5% of your losing stakes at the Copper level, rising to 11% at Diamond, with no wagering on the cashback. It isn’t available on crypto accounts, and its public terms don’t list which games count.

MD88: Your First Live Bet Refunded If It Loses

Ice Fishing at MD88
MD88’s casino page opens on a choice of six studios: Evolution (pictured), Pragmatic Play, AE Sexy, Dream Gaming, SA Gaming and Big Gaming. Ice Fishing is in the Evolution lobby, whose game list appears after you log in.
Bonus Offers
MD88’s first-bet refund suits a game where a single bet can go either way. Make a first deposit of at least MYR 100, and if your first bet of MYR 100 or more at any live table except Allbet loses, MD88 refunds the loss as a bonus of up to MYR 300 with 10x turnover. Its terms don’t exclude game shows. A MYR 100 bet on Leaf 1, for example, wins on about 43% of spins, and the refund covers the rest. It can’t be combined with MD88’s live-casino welcome, 100% up to MYR 188 at 22x, which also names Evolution.

What Is Evolution’s Ice Fishing?
Ice Fishing is a live game show from Evolution, the studio behind Crazy Time, Monopoly Live and many of the live baccarat and blackjack tables in Malaysian lobbies. Evolution previewed it at the ICE trade show in Barcelona in early 2025 and launched it on 6 August 2025 as what it called a speed game show. Its chief product officer, Todd Haushalter, compared the format to short-form video: faster, more instantly gratifying rounds than the studio’s longer shows.
That speed is the point. Crazy Time builds to elaborate bonus games; Ice Fishing settles a round in seconds, and even its bonus rounds are short. One public tracker logged 2,933 Ice Fishing spins in the 24 hours to 7 October 2026, about two a minute.
The set is a frozen fishing hut with a host in thermal gear. The wheel is computer-generated rather than physical, a detail that matters for the real-or-fake question, while the host and the bonus rounds are presented live.
How an Ice Fishing Round Works
- Place your bets in the betting window, which lasts about eight seconds. You can back Leaf 1, Leaf 2, any of the three bonus spots (Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges, Huge Reds), or use All Bonuses to cover all three at once.
- Multipliers land. Before the spin, random multipliers of up to 10x can drop onto segments of the wheel, leaves and bonus segments alike.
- The wheel spins and stops on one of its 53 segments.
- You’re paid or the bonus starts. A leaf result pays 1:1 on that leaf, times any multiplier on it. A fish result starts that bonus round for everyone who backed it.
The Wheel: What Each Segment Pays and How Often It Lands
The 53 segments are split like this, and with equal segments the chance of each result follows directly:
| Segment | Segments on the wheel | Chance per spin | Pays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leaf 1 | 23 | 43.4% | 1:1, more with a multiplier |
| Leaf 2 | 23 | 43.4% | 1:1, more with a multiplier |
| Lil’ Blues | 4 | 7.5% (about 1 in 13) | Bonus round, fish worth 3x to 100x |
| Big Oranges | 2 | 3.8% (about 1 in 27) | Bonus round, fish worth 4x to 200x |
| Huge Reds | 1 | 1.9% (1 in 53) | Bonus round, fish worth 10x to 500x |
The leaf rows hide the game’s most useful fact. A leaf bet wins 43.4% of spins and pays 1:1, which on its own would return only about 87% of what you stake. The random multipliers landing on leaves lift that to the published 97.10%. On a leaf bet, the multipliers aren’t decoration: they’re where most of your return comes from, so expect long stretches of plain 1:1 results between boosted ones.
The Three Bonus Rounds: Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges and Huge Reds
When the wheel stops on a fish, the host goes out onto the ice. A school of fish swims under the surface, each carrying a hidden multiplier, and the host reels one in, the size of the catch hinting at its value as it comes up. Each round pays something, because the smallest fish are worth 3x on Lil’ Blues, 4x on Big Oranges and 10x on Huge Reds.
- Lil’ Blues (4 segments): the most frequent bonus, with fish worth 3x to 100x.
- Big Oranges (2 segments): half as frequent, 4x to 200x.
- Huge Reds (1 segment): the rarest and biggest, 10x to 500x.
A multiplier that landed on the bonus segment before the spin carries into the round and multiplies every fish. A 10x boost on Huge Reds turns its 500x fish into the game’s 5,000x maximum. Only stakes on the matching bonus spot are paid: if you backed Lil’ Blues and the wheel stops on Huge Reds, you watch the round but win nothing from it.
Ice Fishing RTP: Which Bet Costs Least
Evolution publishes a return-to-player figure for each bet, and the gap between them is the clearest guide to what each bet costs:
| Bet | RTP | Average cost per MYR 100 staked |
|---|---|---|
| Leaf 1 or Leaf 2 | 97.10% | MYR 2.90 |
| Lil’ Blues | 95.69% | MYR 4.31 |
| Big Oranges | About 95.5% | About MYR 4.50 |
| Huge Reds | 95.17% | MYR 4.83 |
The leaf bets are the cheapest in Ice Fishing and among the cheaper bets in any live game show. For comparison, Spribe’s Aviator returns 97% and the banker bet in baccarat 98.94%. The bonus bets cost about half as much again as the leaves, the price of a shot at the big multipliers. Published guides disagree on the exact Big Oranges figure, so the table gives a rounded value; the game’s help panel at your casino shows the figures for the table you’re playing.
Is the Ice Fishing Game Real or Fake?
The game is real. Evolution makes it, licensed casinos carry it in their Evolution lobbies, and every result is settled by Evolution, not the casino. The one thing worth knowing is that the wheel is computer-generated: the result comes from Evolution’s random number generator, while the host, the studio and the fishing rounds are streamed live. That’s how Evolution builds its speed formats, and it doesn’t make the game fake.
What is fake is the business that has grown around the name:
- Ice Fishing apps and APKs. Evolution doesn’t distribute Ice Fishing as an app. It runs only inside casino lobbies, so a standalone Ice Fishing download is a copy at best and malware aimed at your banking logins at worst. Ice fishing simulators on Google Play and the App Store are unrelated hobby games.
- Earning schemes and signal groups. Ads and Telegram channels promising daily income from Ice Fishing, or signals for when Huge Reds is due, are selling something the game can’t deliver: each spin is independent.
Our guide to spotting fake slot platforms explains how these funnels work, and the same warning signs apply here.
Can You Play an Ice Fishing Demo?
Not officially. Ice Fishing runs live with a host, and Evolution doesn’t release a play-money version, so “Ice Fishing demo” sites are showing you a recorded video, an imitation or a sign-up funnel. That’s also why this page has no demo, unlike our Aviator and crash games guide.
The honest alternative is to watch. Once you have an account at a casino that carries it, most lobbies let you open the Ice Fishing table and follow rounds without placing a bet. A few minutes of watching shows you what the odds table means in practice: runs of plain leaf results, the occasional multiplier and a Huge Reds round about twice an hour.
Ice Fishing Trackers and Strategy
Ice Fishing trackers are public statistics pages that log every spin: the segment, any multiplier and the size of the biggest wins. They’re useful for one thing, seeing how often each bonus has actually landed, and that matches the odds table over a large enough sample. They can’t tell you what happens next, because each spin is independent: a Huge Reds that hasn’t landed for two hours is no more likely on the next spin.
No bet beats the RTP, but a few habits make sessions cheaper and calmer:
- Choose your bet by what you can afford to lose, not by what’s due. The leaf bets cost least and swing least. The bonus bets cost more and can go many spins without paying anything.
- Know what All Bonuses does. It splits your stake across Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges and Huge Reds, so you hit some bonus about one spin in eight, but every part of the stake earns the lower bonus RTP.
- Skip doubling after losses. On a leaf bet you lose 56.6% of spins, so long losing runs are normal, and Martingale turns them into very large stakes chasing a small win.
- Set the stake and the stop before you start. With a new round roughly every half-minute, Ice Fishing runs through bets faster than a baccarat table does.

How to Play Ice Fishing for Real Money
- Choose a casino that carries Ice Fishing. All five above do, in their Evolution lobby.
- Pick the bonus first, if you want one. At We88, choose live casino as the welcome’s game type; at BK8, transfer into the live casino wallet with the live welcome selected; at MD88, place your first live bet on Ice Fishing if you want the refund on it.
- Deposit: by bank transfer, an e-wallet such as Touch ‘n Go, or crypto.
- Open Ice Fishing. It’s in the live casino under Evolution, often in a Game Show or Others category, not in the fishing lobby.
- Bet within the eight-second window and let the round play out. Wins are added to your balance when the spin or the bonus round settles.

Ice Fishing and Other Evolution Game Shows
If Ice Fishing’s quick rounds suit you, the same Evolution lobby has longer-form shows. Crazy Time and Monopoly Live are built around money wheels too, with longer, more elaborate bonus games. BK8’s lobby also shows Lightning Storm and Mega Ball, and Melbet’s Game Show collection adds Funky Time, Monopoly Big Baller and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand. They follow the same logic as Ice Fishing: cheaper base bets and pricier bonus bets, all set by the studio rather than the casino. For classic live tables from the same studio, see our guides to live blackjack, baccarat and roulette.
